INGREDIENTS:

Lemons - about 11 (peel off zest only)
Ginger root - about 1.5 lb.
Turmeric root – about 3 / 4 lb.
NOTE: If you do not have bulk loose tea for any of these but do have teabags,
you could cut the bags open and empty out the loose tea—not ideal, but
workable.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat about 2-3 gallons of purified water in a very large pot.
2. Add all ingredients except the last three to the water, about 2 heaping spoonful’s (soup spoon or small serving spoon) of each ingredient; whisk in and let simmer for about 3-4 hours.
3. Remove from heat and let it cool down; you can even let it sit overnight.
4. When fully cooled, strain it and leave just the liquid.
5. Juice the lemons (with the white pith), ginger and turmeric in a juicer, then mix into the cooled tea.
6. Divide the liquid into multiple containers, some for the freezer, some for the fridge; can be stored in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
When ready to drink, put about half a cup (4oz) in a tall container and fill it with purified or distilled water. May drink as much as 2 cups per day.
